Everyone Needs New Shoes Eventually

Maintenance was and still is a big part of the cowboy's daily routine. The saddle breaks a strap. The saddle pad is wearing thin. The horse throws a shoe. A cowboy's job is never done. Here is one of those cowboys replacing the shoes on his horse Goldie. It is not an easy job and takes skill not to injure the hoof. Most cowboys today have learned this skill early in life .
